Embedded With Gaza Medics

What a change reporting from the civilians side rather than the military perspective characteristic of the corporate media’s ’embedding’ with the US military in Iraq. FRANCE 24’s correspondent in Gaza, Radjaa Abou Dagga, followed a team of Palestinian medics during the Israeli assault. Some images are graphic (r/t 15 mins).

Thanks to you and your courageous camera crew for producing and showing this. Let’s hope it jolts the spineless and unprincipled leaders in western capitals whose pathetic hand-wringing and inaction shame the rest of us.

I have so much admiration for the courage of this man, and for the doctors and ambulance crews. This report should be shewn above all to those who support this obscene and brutal war against the innocent, or those who in positions of authority stand by and do nothing.
I shall forward it as widely as possible.

Thank you for showing us what is really going on in Gaza
The Israeli/North american disinformation and lies which constitute the normal mainstream reporting is mindboggling
and sickening because of it’s mendacity and cowardice
    Thank you again

Timely Reminders

"Those who crusade, not for God in themselves, but against the devil in others, never succeed in making the world better, but leave it either as it was, or sometimes perceptibly worse than what it was, before the crusade began. By thinking primarily of evil we tend, however excellent our intentions, to create occasions for evil to manifest itself."
-- Aldous Huxley

"The only war that matters is the war against the imagination. All others are subsumed by it."
-- Diane DiPrima, "Rant", from Pieces of a Song.

"It is difficult
to get the news from poems
yet men die miserably every day
for lack
of what is found there"
-- William Carlos Williams, "Asphodel, That Greeny Flower"
