1. Social Bookmarking

Do you use Digg, Del.icio.us, Facebook, Reddit, Stumble-Upon, or other networked bookmarking sites to save your links? On the right sidebar there is a Social Bookmarking widget Bookmark and Share to click on for saving any post of your choice. Note: if you are on the main page, it will save the site as a whole; if it is a particular post you wish to bookmark, simply go to that post by clicking on the title for its own dedicated link and page. You can now bookmark that post.

2. Comments Policy

  1. Comments are welcome and are moderated and approved at the discretion of the site editors.
  2. First-time commenters may have a time-lag between time of posting their comment and appearance on the site–-please check back usually within 24 hours as it will not immediately appear until it is approved.
  3. Commenters must have a valid email address which will not be displayed.
  4. Respondents are welcome to include their websites and to trackback.
  5. Respectful disagreement is fine; courtesy and good reasoning are expected.
  6. Very occasionally, a comment from a regular poster will be wrongly caught up in the Spam folder and may inadvertently be cleared. While we do endeavour to check the spam folder and have so far successfully un-spammed a small number of legitimate comments, there is the possibility the Spam folder may be cleared en masse. If this is the case and your comment doesn’t appear, please simply re-post. This happens rarely but it is useful to be mindful that it does happen.
  7. Embedded links are welcome, but please be aware that even if you are a regular poster, any comment with more than 2 links will automatically be delayed in the moderation queue until released.
  8. We reserve the right to use, delete or bar comments in a manner consistent with the above stated policy.

Timely Reminders

"Those who crusade, not for God in themselves, but against the devil in others, never succeed in making the world better, but leave it either as it was, or sometimes perceptibly worse than what it was, before the crusade began. By thinking primarily of evil we tend, however excellent our intentions, to create occasions for evil to manifest itself."
-- Aldous Huxley

"The only war that matters is the war against the imagination. All others are subsumed by it."
-- Diane DiPrima, "Rant", from Pieces of a Song.

"It is difficult
to get the news from poems
yet men die miserably every day
for lack
of what is found there"
-- William Carlos Williams, "Asphodel, That Greeny Flower"
