Harman' the country: The Daily Show on Wiretap Jane

A couple of divergent views on the Daily Show’s coverage of the Jane Harman scandal: Jeremy Scahill thinks the summary is better than most mainstream accounts; Philip Weiss thinks Jon Stewart was not critical enough and that “Jon Stewart … blew it. Didn’t mention Israel for over a minute. Doesn’t say Harman’s Jewish. Doesn’t talk about the Israel lobby really. Doesn’t talk about the occupation or Gaza or Iran, the things the lobby cares about. Makes it into a confusing Washington scandal.” Here ’tis:
