The Doomsday Code (or ‘cult’?)

What a ‘revelation’ (boom tish) – these apocalyptic ‘end-time’ evangelicals are the biggest obstacle to peace, I’m sure I’m not the first person to opine. My Christianity is NOT theirs that’s for sure …

Click link to view this revealing documentary about the End-Timers growing influence in the US and their distorted view of Christianity with the truly mindboggling ‘rapture’ belief.

‘End-time’ theology and the rapture is actually a man-made belief cooked up only two hundred years ago, the doco asserts. Their actions may well bring about a self-fulfilling prophecy, manufacturing an enemy where none previously existed.

Only God can bring about the end of this old earth; and, that He will surely do precisely when He said He would: according to His Word is is about to end. But, it will not be in the manner that Christian theology is teaching it, mainly because they have twisted God’s prophecies and treat Revelation as though it were, first, written chronologically and as though it deals only with these end days: thus, they come up with, essentially, the “Left Behind” series. How misquided, for it covers a span of 3000 years and definitely is not written chronologically.

As for the purported “rapture,” according to the Bible there is no such thing; there is no sudden disappearance of people when Christ comes to “take up His small flocks” leaving behind a host of people who will be given a second chance to get it right. The Bible states very clearly that when He comes, every eye will see and all the wicked will know “perfectly why they are left behind” very dead.

Alas, what appears to be Christ’s churches (denominations) are no more than Satan’s synagogues: beautiful white sepulchres full of dead men’s bones. There is no 7 years set aside for repentance, Armaggedon has been in force since 1991 and is not at all what theologians teach it to be. There will never be peace, as man knows peace, on this old earth: It Is Written! And, conditions are about as bad as it will get before Christ appears in the clouds; yet, the majority are not ready and will be left behind.

It breaks my heart to see how organized Christian religions have misled the people, having them totally unprepared for Christ’s return. It angers me that these so-called Christian denominations spew lies and the people eat them up like candy, then malign and attack those who are speaking God’s Truth in an effort to warn the people. We speakers are so few and are mightily attacked, persecuted, and our characters maligned.

Thank you for your article. It stirred up my righteous anger. Visit my blog some time at http://bonnieq.wordpress.com

    Dear Bonnie,

Many thanks for your thoughtful response. I’m so glad to see your sane comment “As for the purported “rapture,” according to the Bible there is no such thing.” It saddens me too to see Christ’s message of peace and love so distorted. A friend of mine who is an evangelical is also similarly dismayed by the antics of these people. I will visit your blog, and thanks for stopping by.

    Love in Christ,
    Ann

The present day problem. Radical religious scholars control the minds and hearths of majority of Christians, Jews and Muslims. There are very good peaceul religious scholars who do not take the literal meaning of the scriptures and I heard one Rev. Kevin Bean who debated one of the evanglicals who believe that war and destruction will bring Jesus back.

Ann, Thank you for your very intelligent comments on Hugo.
