In honour of Land Day: Following on from Music for Palestine I (songs in English) are a selection of songs for and about Palestine in Arabic. There are many more and this is but a sample. I’ve tentatively put them into two categories, Classic and Contemporary. Thanks to Banksy who suggested Muslimgauze when we posted Music for Palestine I. The late Manchester-born Bryn Jones (aka Muslimgauze) might be happy to know we’ve placed him here, since the song features a guest vocalist who sings in Arabic. See also Shadia Mansour (thanks Robin).
Suggestions regarding artists and songs are most welcome.
