Colbert is rightly regarded as a comic genius and The Colbert Report is a comedic institution. Mickey Z thinks O’Reilly is also in character — interesting hypothesis …
I saw this recent video at Graeme’s and was howling with laughter at Colbert‘s mock earnest admiration of Fox’s smug Bill O’Reilly while taking the mickey:
Run-time: 7:11.
While we’re on comic relief, this is also an opportunity to revisit one of Colbert’s best performances is his jaw-dropping roasting of Bush and his junta at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in April last year.
Please do enjoy it if you haven’t already seen it—-ICH which has the full transcript with the priceless one-liners.
Highly recommended.

Good work Graemeister. Makes you wonder what he’s like when he’s not in character. Where the light is that bright, there’s got to be a dark shadow.

Serv., I’d also be intrigued to see what he was like in real life and out of character. Is he a happyface but really sad clown? What motivates him and makes him tick?

Thanks Bluebear for that fantastic link and God knows where it went the first time (insert twilight zone theme). Some of those busted tees are hilarious! A few I didn’t understand, maybe its more local humour
