Lesser and greater known Bushisms

Check them out at Netherworld, you’ll be sure to find a few you haven’t yet seen.

The thief-in-chief surely doesn’t need any satirists, he’s his own caricature.

Meanwhile, I’m taking a week’s blogging break. Any comments may be queued and released upon return. Take care good people.

Enjoy your break! I’ve been out a few days myself.
Although, it may be hard for you to rest peacefully knowing that you’ve been tagged.

:-) Cheers, and looking forward to catching up with what you’ve been up to on here.

Oh oh – looks like Curt got you too ;)

Along the lines of item #5 at the Bushism site, also during the 2004 debates Bush said about John Kerry:

“If he were president Sadam would still be in power and the world would be better off for it.”

LOL Thanks Bluebear, that’s a classic. Quite a challenge to nominate our behavioral eccentricities, isn’t it? Like you, I’m mulling it over … They’re coming, nocturnal-frisbee-loving Curt-meister! ;)

Timely Reminders

"Those who crusade, not for God in themselves, but against the devil in others, never succeed in making the world better, but leave it either as it was, or sometimes perceptibly worse than what it was, before the crusade began. By thinking primarily of evil we tend, however excellent our intentions, to create occasions for evil to manifest itself."
-- Aldous Huxley

"The only war that matters is the war against the imagination. All others are subsumed by it."
-- Diane DiPrima, "Rant", from Pieces of a Song.

"It is difficult
to get the news from poems
yet men die miserably every day
for lack
of what is found there"
-- William Carlos Williams, "Asphodel, That Greeny Flower"
