Teleportation: love it. When I reach near meltdown point, 99, an episode of Star Trek (The Next Generation or Voyager series) usually perks me up with its positive vision of a future. So I especially liked your sci fi reference. Keep your spirits up.

Well, I was reaching meltdown point again. So I’m glad to hear people are taking it in. Really nothing to say except register a little more of our gross demoralization from all this.

Homie just broke the news of the first successful teleportation and I am now outright manic with elation for that relief from the oppression of this relentlessly horrible scene.

I think I’m going to go lounge in the shade and think of all the wonderful things that can happen once we can teleport people and things. Rove in jail… poof! Excess atmospheric carbon to a Jovian moon… poof! Genocidal maniacs to a Jovian moon… poof! Done! Bliss.

Could be, 99, though its still receiving a fair number of hits and links (thanks for yours). On any site, some posts seem to be ‘sleepers’ on the comments front and others veritable vox pops as you know.

A couple of comments at another site linking here expressed pleasant surprise that an organization like CNI even exists, and that’s a good thing.
