Well Ann, I can use your own reasoning to prove you wrong.

As you say, poetry = romance.
And as we know, my poetry = crap,
Therefore my romance is also crappy,
Therefore I am a bad romantic,
And a bad romantic is not a romantic,
Therefore I am not a romantic.

Therefore, someone is wrong on the internet again, and its not me. :P

But I can take my time, because the only thing that awaits me in bed is a mass of scattered notes and assignments. :(

:D Thanks for the great chuckle, Ziyad, especially since the supreme and delicious irony is that you disagreed with the proposition that revolutionaries can be romantic through poetry: the quintessential romantic medium.

Just marvelous. This is worthy of Subcomandante Marcos, who happens to be my very favourite contemporary poetic anti-revolutionary revolutionary. ;)

Bah, they don't have time for decadent tomfoolery like "romance", Ann. :P
They have far better things to do with their time.

In fact, I think I can write a poem about it straight away. I know people are going to hate me for this, but here we go...

Revolutionaries...
They don't get paid,
They don't get laid.
(The latter being a natural consequence of the former)

They drink a Molotov cocktail
Lest their courage fail...
While they sit in jail,
Without bail.

They live on the barricade, yo!
They die on the barricade, ho!
