I am astonished that here in late 2008 I still hear my Christian friends repeat the false tale of the Iran President saying (2005) he wanted “Wipe Israel Off the Map.”

I expect to here people like George Bush repeat this proven error, but am frustrated that a Christian is still in effect brainwashed by evil leaders we now have in the world.

Back again, Ann. It happens one of the sites I cross-link with is posted by a woman who has lived in Iran and whose son knows Farsi. Since we both frequent U.S. political discussion groups some viral information transfer may occur yet.

Thanks PM, and I agree, it should be broadcast as wide as possible across alternative media and the blogosphere. As Jolly Roger points out, much of the the corporate mainstream media aren’t going to be deviating much from their state-sponsored party line any time soon. Its up to us to help disseminate counter currents of truth against the propagated tide of dis- and mis- information.
